[Oh Hello Oslo] Dan Colen at Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art

"Based on elements from mass media and experiences from contemporary life with a subcultural language, he creates a personal remix that highlights beautiful and magical aspects of undervalued, everyday life. His artistic production encompasses photographs, painting and sculptures, and includes, among other things, Disney motifs and chewing gum on canvas."

  1. Oh jeez. That chewing gum on canvas is gross, Adeline. GROSS. I can't even focus on the art bit.

  2. What did you think of the exhibition? Loved it? Hated it? Ambivalent towards it?

  3. i'm liking the framed glass (are they called windows if they're not in a wall?!) domino style on the floor.

re: the clock, i bought it at Tiger (http://www.tigerstores.co.uk/) and while it was a tiny bit noisy at first, i don't notice it anymore. i don't use it as an alarm clock though as it was NOT a nice way to wake up!

  4. Modern art is the best. I love it.

Thanks for your adorable comment with all the loves. I lovelovelove Sheldon Cooper too! I love that show so much! I can't wait to see Jim Parsons on Broadway. Yeah I know he was in Garden State. I haven't seen that movie since it came out. Whoa. I don't remember liking it that much though. But I do like Zach Braff. I think I enjoyed The Last Kiss more. Yeah. Maybe I should watch Garden State again! :)
