You might have heard of Google's decision to cancel Google Friend Connect - I honestly don't really care as I've been using Bloglovin' for years. However I don't want to lose all 226 of you using Google's toy and if you're looking for a good (better) blog reader, I'd definitely recommend Bloglovin'.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know that it was going to dissapear... I've never tried Bloginvin' although I've been hearing about it for ages now... would you recommend it? I'll subscribe by email anyway... I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteWow, no I didn't know.... I never really gave bloglovin' a chance, I found it easier to see updates on my blogger dashboard or when you tweet about a new post. Subscribed to your email updates though - that's a good idea.

ReplyDeleteI subscribe via email anyways. I use Feedburner and RSS as a form of what number of followers I have (if someone is asking the deets for them), but I never really counted on Google Connect.
ReplyDeleteI love Bloglovin', but I can't stand how the blogs make my computer slow so i just use email or google reader :)
you know I havent even thought about what it will mean for people following my blog lol, I guess they'll stay with me if they want to. and of course I'll stay with you :) you brighten my reader!

ReplyDeleteFriend Connect seems to only be being removed from non-Blogger blogs, (according to that article) which is a relief. Do you still blog through Blogger? It is a shame that a lot of people are going to be being affected by them removing that feature, but there are lots of other great RSS platforms. It sounds like more fun to have LC delivered via email though!

Yay! Followed. I think that the way Bloglovin' is set up is much more efficient that Google Reader/ Friend Connect anyway.
