Just a minute ...

... in July.

THINGS I ENJOYED THIS MONTH:

• Movies: Minions (tu es bella comme la papaya), Cairo Time (a gem of a movie), What We Do in the Shadows.
• Books: Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice & Fire #1) - George R.R. Martin (I'm hooked),
• To read:
The Revolt Against Tourism.
Here's Why I Hate Your Wedding. "If you’re going to gather up a bunch of exhausted strangers in formal wear, make them pretend you’re Christian, and then demand they give you money, the least you can do is get them drunk."
It's Not Climate Change - It's Everything Change. "We’ve committed some very stupid acts over the course of our history, but our stupidity isn’t inevitable.”

• To watch:
• John Oliver on Food Waste.
• An important and powerful talk by Jon Ronson - What happens when online shaming spirals out of control.

Good shoes take you good places - by Anaïs .

I only started wearing black shoes recently. Up until now, « my » color was camel. Boots, brogues, sandals, salomés, even compensated, I had them all! But you know how, no matter how all other shoes are important to you, there is always that one pair. That special one that you can’t live without. Mine is this pair of sort of braided brogues found in Office in Dublin, 3 years ago. They’ve been the perfect addition to my wardrobe, worn on casual or less casual events, with pants or dress, in Spring or Winter. I can walk a million miles with them and my feet never hurt. They’re the expression of my style: classic, with that detail !

Long may they live my walking adventures !
